“If left untreated knee pain can develop into chronic pain with such conditions including osteoarthritis, patella tendinopathy and meniscal tears”

Most knee pain starts out quite small; some niggling pain while you run, or a dull ache while you squat. It just doesn’t seem to go away. After a few weeks it continues to get worse and then you start to worry. It is important to get your knee assessed by a professional such as a Physiotherapist who can effectively diagnose and treat your injuries. If you would like to check out our Physiotherapy page please click here.

The majority of all knee conditions can be attributed to poor patella tracking. The patella is the bone on the front of your knee. Due to things such as muscle strength imbalances, muscle weakness, poor muscle range of motion, poor running and movement techniques you may develop poor patella tracking which can cause pain. If you have pain at the back of the knee, click on the following link to read our blog post on what can cause this.

We promise not to lock you into Physiotherapy appointments for an ongoing amount of time. Our goal is to get you pain free and moving again in as short as time possible. If you would like to view our prices then please click here.

“I had been running with pain for over 3 months when I first attended Driving Fitness Physiotherapy. After my initial assessment I had a clear road map of what I needed to do to reduce my knee pain. Mark assured me there was nothing seriously wrong with my knee, I just needed specific exercises and stretches to resolve the pain. After 2 sessions I began to see significant progress and I am now back to my 10km runs in the evenings and weekends!” – Jane Aurther
